Cary Valentine, B.S., MSOD - CVS Educational Director/Founder
Cary Valentine started his career in mortgage banking over 25 years ago. In 1991, Cary founded Valentine Mortgage Inc. which quickly grew into a regionally successful Midwestern (USA) mortgage banking firm. He sold Valentine Mortgage to First Community Bancshares in Overland Park, KS in 1999 and still serves as an onsite consultant to the bank's retail lending department to this day. Over the last several years, Cary has branched out into human resource consulting work in and outside the finance industry. He has consulted and trained in diverse cultural venues throughout the US, Canada, and Europe. While still a specialist in the field of banking and finance, Cary often visits small manufacturing facilities, university systems, health care facilities, law firms and various sales organizations.
Cary's formal education is in social psychology, organizational development psychology and organizational leadership. He is a contributing author to organizational periodicals and has worked feverishly, to establish the revival of organizational ethnography in business consulting in an effort to minimize the "backlash-effect" many consulting initiatives tend to spawn.
